A second hand seat has been fitted, the exhaust has also been modified and fitted, (much quieter now).
A spot sprayer has also been fitted to the rear with a homemade bracket.
I almost look forward to spraying the weeds now.
Still waiting for the cutting deck.

It Has Life
I finally figured out the wiring system with the aid of some diagrams. It started on the third turn, YIPPEEE.
All that remains now is to get a new seat, or good second hand one, and fit the modified exhaust pipe.

Wheel Horse
This is a rough restoration of a 1974-77 Wheel Horse C120 Tractor Lawnmower.
http://www.tractordata.com/lawn-tractors/000/4/5/451-wheel-horse-c-120.html
I bought this mower in 1995 and it was working OK.
I got 10 years of lawn cutting, 0.7 acre, with very few problems from it.
Then the conrod broke, (entirly my fault, I drained the oil, went to the shed for fresh oil, no oil there, so I thought 'I'll get it tomorrow'. I forgot to get oil and started the mower 4 or 5 days later, and broke the conrod.) I know what you are thinking,"What a DA".
I cannot remember where I got the conrod from, but it came with new gaskets and piston rings.
Shortly after this the points packed it in, then the cutting deck started to show signs of serious tinworm, then the starter failed.
At this stage I decided to buy a new Ride on mower. A Jonsered powered by Kohler.
The Wheel Horse has been under my sons 'tree house' for the past 4-5 years untouched apart from birds nesting in the engine bay.
Restoration began 2 weeks ago.
A sorry sight:
It gets worse.
Then a good scrubbing down with a wire brush, Jizer cleaning fluid, a power wash and plenty of paint, and it begins to resemble a useful machine again.
A new set of points and condenser from ebay seller 'mowers4u' and a new starter motor from ebay seller 'Caltric' have been fitted.
Next job is to figure out the wiring, then the exhaust has to be modified.
The bonnet and seat deck are being resprayed.
A new seat will have to be bought also.
The cutting deck is still working but I will get it reinforced at a local engineering place before using it again.
